Who knew a country with four seas surrounding it could actually be connected to a continent? Well Denmark certainly is, It is also one of the last remaining kingdoms in Europe although you wouldn’t guess it. Like England it still has a monarchy but does not stand on customs or ceremony. However this does not mean that they do not respect their heritage, it just means that they are much more liberal in how they treat the past. Nowhere is better to find sights like this than Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark. Copenhagen is a very diverse city with much culture and many events to suit a wide range of tastes. Wherever you go in Denmark you will be no more than 50 kilometres away from the sea, so if you want to visit a beach without staying by one then Denmark is one of the most perfect places to experience this luxury.
