For many years Poland has been the meeting place between the east and the west. It is home to a large array of wildlife and countryside, ranging from beautiful forests, to mountain ranges which span many hundreds of kilometres. All of this is easily accessible, and can be viewed from as near or as far away as you like, depending on whether you wish to take the adventurous route and traverse the mountain peaks or watch from afar as you sail leisurely down the river admiring the beautiful shapes and textures of the local landscapes. Poland is also a very cultural and ethnically diverse country with all religions living together in relative harmony. With this in mind it will be easy to take in and enjoy all the different cultures and their artworks, architecture and of course the large range of different festivals that all the different religions celebrate. Warsaw has a large range of entertainment options throughout the year ranging from opera performances all the way through to film festivals and is an integral point of any eurpoean world war two tour
