The Westlodge Hotel & Pondlodge Cottages are situated on the edge of the Beautiful town of Bantry in the heart of West Cork. The Hotel is located on an elevated site, set within 30 acres of landscaped gardens with wooded walks and the pond, which is home to many wildlife species. Our Hotel was awarded the Mark of Best Practise Award by Failte Ireland in 2005, one of just 7 hotels in Ireland to achieve this prestigious award. Our amenities at the hotel include a superb Health & Leisure Centre which features indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. On site we offer guests outdoor tennis courts, pitch and putt and squash courts and we have introduced a selection of therapeutic and aromatherapy massages to make your stay even more relaxing. Our extensive Childrens facilities offer a range of activities for all ages to include Childrens bubble pool, toddlers pool, outdoor playground, indoor play room and games rooms. During June, July & August the Mighty Ducks Club will entertain children from 5-12 years, while younger guests are supervised in our toddlers play room, free of charge, as parents relax and enjoy all the hotel has to offer. Our Sugarloaf Restaurant which overlooks Bantry Bay is committed to the Feile Bia Charter serving only local produce from recognised Quality Assurance Schemes and we are pleased to be part of the Fuchsia Brand initiative. During Summer months, guests can enjoy nightly entertainment in our hotel bar. The Westlodge Hotel & Leisure Centre is the ideal base for touring West Cork and Kerry, with the Ring of Kerry just a short drive from the hotel. There are numerous tourist attractions close to the hotel, Bantry House & Gardens, Sheeps Head Walking or Cycling Trail and Bantry Golf Club to name just a few and many other wonderful tours within easy reach. Guests can wander about the delightful town of Bantry and enjoy the market in the town centre every Friday, selling local produce, crafts, plants, fashions, etc. We aim to provide a warm, friendly service to all our Guests and to lead in the hospitality industry in providing organised family holidays, we would like to extend and maintain this traditional Irish Welcome to all our guests.
