The owner Domenica & Gaetano would be very pleased to meet you in this ancient Masseria (built around 1500), converted from the original Old Monastery, that now offers a pleasant rural retreat close to nature, in a quite and romantic atmosphere, but only two steps from the sea. A buffet breakfast is served to until 12 noon, either in the breakfast room, or in the garden. During your breakfast you could eat: fresh croissants and bread, biscuits, fresh fruits, yoghurt, juices, cereals, different marmalades, ham, cheese, combine with the flavour of freshly made coffee ('espresso) and 'cappuccino' to make each breakfast a special occasion. The rooms have been carefully converted from the original sheep-fold buildings, and are fully equipped with air conditioned/heating, hair dryer, colour TV, refrigerator and full shower and toilet facilities. The nearest town is OSTUNI (7 km. from masseria):it is one of the most stunning small towns of southern Italy. Situated on three hills at the southernmost edge of Le Murge, and an important Greco-Roman city in the first century AD, its old centre spreads across the highest of the hills, a gleaming white splash of sun-bleached streets and cobbled alleyways, dominating the plains below.
