Description:
The Villa dei Misteri Motel is located on the outskirts of the archaeological area of Pompeii. The ancient city's main entrance ('Porta Marina') is only 150 metres (a couple of streets) from us. The centre of the modern city is only two km (less than a mile) away. Two important means of transportation, the Circumvesuviana railway and the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway, are both very close (150 and 300 metres, a few streets). This makes the Motel Villa dei Misteri an ideal starting point for trips to the Sorrentine peninsula, the Amalfi Coast, Naples and the area around Mount Vesuvius. In the centre of the hotel complex is a 25-metre pool surrounded by a sun-terrace on which, during the Summer, you can eat your meals from the restaurant. We also have a small conference room (for up to 40 people) that you can use for preparatory talks or lessons before visiting the Pompei excavations.
