THE HOTEL: From a large Liberty Villa, the architect coaxed the lines of an elegant facade tastefully decorated with wooden fascia work. The buildings 130 flower decked balconies all look onto the broad belvedere terrace with its swimming pool and rare plants. The Grand Hotel has that air of gentility: Liberty decor is set off by splendid furniture and works of art that together frame tasteful salons where it is pleasant to sit and enjoy the piano playing in the bar, or else relax on the wide verandas sipping afternoon tea. The hotel is located in the town centre, in the shopping area a few steps from a beautiful park and the the thermal baths. THE ROOMS AND THE APARTMENTS: 120 rooms, 25 suites with bath tub or/and shower, direct control of air-conditioning, minibar, Sat Tv, hairdryer, telephone even in the bathroom, safe. All the suites and several rooms are antique style furnished, have two bathrooms and balcony. THE SERVICES: The Salone dei Granduchi restaurant offers a vast choice of international and Italian dishes in addition to a wide selection of typical Tuscan recipes that you can choose from our menu à la Grande Carte. The careful selection of wines from the cellar enriches the taste of your lunch or dinner. Guests taking full board may dine at the restaurant of any of the grand hotels in Florence in lieu of the meal provided at the Grand Hotel Tamerici.
