The Hotel Posta is located in the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, a medieval building that has been a hotel for over five centuries. In 1200, it was the residence of the peoples Captain and in 1400 home of Sigismondo dEste; it became an inn called Red Hat Inn in 1515. Eight centuries of history that made it one of the most important sights in town ! 32 rooms, 8 junior suites, 1 honeymoon suite with an evocative canopy bed and one large rooftop suite with private terrace. 42 rooms altogether, all in different styles where history and atmosphere blend together. The same feeling is to be found in the common spaces and in the floral style lounge. A large frescoed conference room containing up to 100 people, a few smaller meeting rooms for private sessions with all modern audio-visual equipment, air conditioning, telephone and an extra independant entrance. The hotel has a lift, a private garage, laundry, safe and bar.
