This valley, which is part of the 'Parklandscape' of South Limburg, gets its name from de small river De Geul which runs through there. De Herberg hotel-restaurant is a perfect place to relax and get away from everyday life. The hotel has 12 rooms and 25 beds. The idea of a 'tavern' might be lost in modern days but at De Herberg we still treat our customers with optimal hospitality and care. We also have our own parking area, bike shed and a special parking area for motors. From our hotel, restaurant, Green-room and large terrace, which seats over 60 people, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Geul Valley. Our terrace and restaurant are easily accessible for people in wheelchairs or people with walking disabilities. De Herberg is easy to find. Look under Travel information for the precise details. De Herberg is a friendly, cozy family hotel with 10 rooms with room for 18 to 23 people. This cozy atmosphere is partly created by our lounge area, which seats 45 people and is also used for dinner, lunch and recreational purposes. It is a place where holidaymakers meet and has a reading corner, television/DVD area and a closet filled with games. A daily Dutch newspaper and a weekly television guide are provided. Furthermore, there is a good restaurant with an excellent kitchen with space for 50 people and outside there is a large sunny terrace with 100 seats and a view of the Geul Valley. This is an ideal place to have a drink or read a book.
