...next to the shopping centre Magna Plaza. Museums, shops and entertainment areas are all within walking distance. In 'Die Port van Cleve' you find traditions combined with modern facilities. Brasserie 'de Poort', since 1870 serving the famous numbered steaks... Bar/Bodega 'De Blauwe Parade' with it's Dutch Jenevers and Delft Blue tiles from 1887... Between 1864 and 1870 the first brewery of Mr. Heineken was located on this property. On 5th September 1870 we started as a cafe/beerhouse. In 1880 we expanded with our Bodega, where fine wines could be tasted. The Delft Blue tiles in our Bodega date back to 1887. Since 1870 we serve our famous, numbered steaks. In 1997 the magic line of 6,000,000 numbered and certificated steaks sold was nearly reached. A combination of old traditions and modern facilities makes 'die Port van Cleve' well prepared for the new century.
