Hotel Pelops, one of the first hotels in Ancient Olympia to open its doors to visitors, over 40 years ago, was completely renovated for the 2004 Olympic Games and, today, offers guests a welcoming atmosphere and enviromnent, with charming interiors and all modern comforts. The family run property is conveniently situated just off the main road, in a quiet and peaceful corner of the city, right next to the Orthodox church, and about 800 metres away from the archaeological site and the Olympic Games museum, which can both be easily reached with a short 15-minute walk. Area attractions also include the beaches of Kaiafas, Kato Samiko and Zaharo, located approximately 18 km away from the hotel, and considered to be three of the most beautiful beaches in all Greece.
