The property also includes the owners private villa and a restaurant that is situated nearby, nestled within a small wooded area. The reception is at the guests disposal for information, reservations, sightseeing suggestions, golf-teetimes, baby-sitters and anything else that helps the guests to enjoy their stay. It is also possible to purchase the following home made farm products: olive oil, wine and honey. A selection of various films - also for children - are available for rent (Euro 6,00 per film per day) at our Relais Reception. The Ugolino Golf Club and the Tennis Equitation Club are 8 km away, reserving special treatment for guests of the Relais. Public transport connects The Relais to Florence every 30 minutes. RELAIS VILLA LOLMO THROUGHOUT THE SEASONS: Springtime is a wonderful period to visit the Relais, as the climate is mild and nature is reawakening after the winter months. Driving through the Chianti countryside, visiting the small towns that offer various arts and crafts is a pleasure without the crowds and golf, cycling and horse riding are also more appealing without the summer heat to contend with. In the Summer, lazy days can be spent by the pool and the evenings can be spent dining al fresco cooking on the barbecues, soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the vast olive groves and vineyards. There are also the many wonderful restaurants to sample all within walking distance or just a short drive away. The Autumn and Winter months are perfect for those that enjoy wine tasting, discovering how olive oil is made, visiting the local festivals or just exploring the magnificent Tuscan countryside and soaking up the ambience of village life. Wine tours, cheese production, art galleries, local crafts and festivities can be booked through the reception.
