Dinan is a medieval fortress town situated deep in the estuary of the River Rance, which opens out on to the Emerald Coast between Dinard and Saint-Malo. Today the town still stands surrounded by the most extensive and oldest ramparts in Brittany. We invite you to explore the town by joining one of the guided tours offered by the Tourist Office. Dinan is also an ideal place for a stopover or break when exploring the Pays de Rance and Emerald Coast and for visiting some of the major tourist attractions in the area, such as Saint-Malo, Cancale, Dinard, Cap Fréhel headland, Mont Saint-Michel Bay, Dol de Bretagne, etc.
