Description:
The Astoria is situated in the heart of Budapest and is one of the most fascinating hotel of the capital. Opened on the 1914, the property was restored and modernized several times (the last one on 2004). The Empire-style interiors, the marble decor, the fancy carpets, the crystal chandeliers, the glittering mirrors and the stained-glass windows, make this property the ideal place for a romantic stay. Many film producers and directors played several films inside the Astoria. Due to the hotel's excellent services and ideal location in the heart of the historic city centre, within walking distance from the administrative, business and cultural districts and the famous shopping areas of Váci Street, the hotel is very popular among foreigners and citizens as well.
