The rustic and Tyrolean-styled Aktiv Hotel-Pension Klingler, is situated directly in the centre of Maurach and offers a beautiful view on the Rofan and Karwendel mountains. The holiday region around the Achensee lake has a picturesque position between the high mountains and the largest Tyrolean lake, being an ideal starting point for excursions and trips to the famous crystal-world of Swarovski in Wattens, to Innsbruck, to the lake Tegernsee, to Salzburg or South Tyrol. There are also a lot of possibilities for practising sports in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: alpine skiing, biking and mountainbiking, tennis, golf, cross-country skiing, horse riding, sailing and surfing.
