The property is housed in a charming period building which faces piazza del Gesù and its splendid church, which boasts a stunning facade by Pietro da Cortona and magnificient paintings by Andrea Pozzo (1642-1709), some of the best-preserved architectural and artistic examples in the Castelli Romani area. Frascati, only 10 km from the Eternal City, is an extremely favourable location both for its fine climate and convenient position. It offers a vast choice of traditional restaurants, trattorias and osterias in which to sample genuine local specialties and renowned Frascati wine. It also offers a wide choice of golf courses: Castelgandolfo, Acqua Santa, Fioranello and Marco Simone are the Golf Club which collaborate with the hotel in the organization of weekend and week-long golf packages.
