Location is one of the values of the Splendid, just between the two central districts of Barcelona ('Eixample' and the old area). All the city center is around or walking distance. Public transportation is all around (though you probably will not need it). The bus from the airport also stops nearby. The Apsis Splendid is a modern hotel in the city center. It was opened in 1998 and facilities look brand new and well maintained. Comfortable and functional rooms with working desk, TV with international channels and pay movies, carpet floor, minibar, heating and air conditioned, complete private bathroom in marble with bathtub and shower, exclusive toiletries pack, hairdryer, bathrobe and cosmetic mirror. The quality of rooms and its excellent location are the best characteristics of the Splendid. Tourists and businessmen who discovered it are quick to fill the hotels few rooms.
