The hotel is ideally located for visiting the locations sets of TV series Emmerdale Farm (Woolpack Pub),Where the Heart Is and The Last of the Summer Wine. It is only short journey by train to Manchester,Leeds, York and Harrogate. The Haworth Parsonage, home of the literary Bronte family are just two of the nearby visitor attractions . The George was built in the Victorian period around 1851; it is an elegant Grade II listed building situated on the main square in Huddersfield town centre.
