The old Banqueting Hall, which is now the Parliament Restaurant, has a remarkable beamed ceiling. The bedrooms are individually furnished with antiques and have a wealth of original exposed beams and wattle and daub walls. Please note that there is no car park attached to the hotel and the NCP car park is 5 minutes walk away, parking will be paid for by the hotel , we suggest that you stop in the loading area and off load your baggage into the Hotel if you have a lot. The hotel is located in the town centre and there are numerous shops nearby including well known chain stores and smaller, boutique-style shops. A quiet retreat from the modern world outside, the hotels' Tudor features and warm red and gold fabrics provide a luxurious and relaxing environment in which to enjoy your stay.
