The Marlborough Hotel is located on Felixstowes sea front, 250 yards south of the pier complex. Felixstowe sits at the end of a peninsula between the estuaries of the River Orwell and Deben on the east coast. Served by a good road network, the A12 London - Gt Yarmouth road links to the A14 Midlands - East Coast road which ends at Felixstowe port. We are approximately 45 minutes from Harwich. The port of Felixstowe is 5 minutes drive away from the hotel, and the promenade is just across the road for that leisurely stroll!, the town is 10 minutes walk away. The geography of the area means that the dockland in no way detracts from Felixstowes traditional role as a holiday resort of character and charm. The hotel has 49 en-suite bedrooms, many with sea views, a lift serves the 1st and 2nd floor. Ideal for that overnight stop or weekend break, and well placed for touring the famous beautiful areas of Suffolk and the Essex countryside. Both travellers and tourists are well catered for, with the Rattan restaurant boasting an excellent Tabled'Hôte menu, with a traditional Carvery available for Sunday lunch. In addition the comfortable and friendly newly decorated Flying Boat bar offers a good selection of home cooked bar meals and also has pool table, darts and BIG SCREEN football etc.The sea-view L' Aperitif lounge and bar offer a chance to relax without all the music etc of the Flying Boat public Bar. The Landguard is NON-SMOKING and also has available for guests use - TV, Library and Board Games. For Weddings, Birthdays etc The Brackenbury Suite with its own bar and dance floor is available.
