The Swan at Grasmere, situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park is an excellent base from which to explore the local area. It is an ideal location for walking, sailing, fishing, cycling, shopping, riding and golfing. The great appeal of this hotel is shown by the many guests who return year after year. Log fires burn in the winter in lounge fireplace while in summer the Swan is an ideal base for lovers of the Great Outdoors or for those who prefer a more leisurely break in a stunning setting. Often there is an opportunity to upgrade your room for a small additional charge and the hotel welcomes 'Mans Best Friend' when booked in advance.
