The Hotel is easily accessible on the main A55 Expressway, 3 miles from the country towns of Mold, Holywell, and Flint and only 15 minutes from the beautiful Roman city of Chester to the East and 20 minutes from the Welsh coast to the West. Inland the Snowdonia Mountain Range is 45 minutes drive. The Springfield Hotel was originally a Country Manor House built around 1800 A.D. It has been tastefully converted and modernised and is now one of the area's most renowned Hotels. The Hotel boasts a fully heated indoor pool and Sauna and is delighted to offer residential swimming courses for those who have not learned to swim. Based on a 5 day programme over 6000 swimmers have learnt to swim at the Springfield - a 100% success rate! From time to time the swimming pool may be in use for private lessons. The Hotel also has its own Beauty Salon and to avoid disappointment advanced booking is advisable. The Springfield has, in the Kendrick Suite, one of the largest Banqueting Rooms in the area. It can seat up to 400 people for Dinner Dances, Corporate Events, Weddings, Conferences, Trade Exhibitions, and holds regular Cabaret Nights featuring such stars as Counterfeit Abba, Liverpool Laughter Show, Bootleg Bee Gees, Killer Queen, Robbie Williams Tribute, Queen B, The Ivy League and many others.
