The Hanover has recently been refurbished to a high standard and is the ideal base to explore the rejuvenated city of Liverpool - being situated right at the heart of the tourist centre. Explore the home of the Beatles and the Mersey scene, Liverpool's historic docks and superb museums and art galleries. World famous for football teams, comedians and musicians, Liverpool was once Britain's principal port and is steeped in history. Everything the vibrant city of Liverpool has to offer is just a few steps away from the Hanover Hotel. Please be aware that the Hanover is at the heart of the Liverpool scene and as a consequence of that can be noisy especially at weekends, if you are looking for a quiet hotel we advise that you do not stay in the city centre. As 2008 approaches Liverpool City Centre is undergoing major construction work with the Paradise project. The City centre is being modernised and is a hive of activity as a consequence building work is being carried out most days and noise is noticable. Please note that all of our rooms are non-smoking
