Built between 1760 and 1803 in a baroque style from Duke Carl Eugen and Friedrich I, the castle is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The splendour and brilliance of times gone by can be enjoyed today at various celebrations and gala dinners. Unfortunately there are no hotelrooms available in the castle. Take the exit Ludwigsburg Nord from motorway A 81 and follow the signs \Schloss Monrepos\ and you will reach the hotel within 3 minutes. Ludwigsburg city center is only 3,5 km away, downtown Stuttgart 20 km. The Schlosshotel Monrepos is situated in the extensive parkland, directly on the charming Monrepos lake.
