...located in the spa town of Bad Reichenhall near to Salzburg (Austria), We are an environmentally-aware health-oriented hotel. In addition to an excellent European cuisine, we also offer diets and vegetarian menus at no extra charge. All ingredients in our kitchen, beverages included, are organicly grown and brewed. Our cuisine is being checked by BIOLAND Germany. Most of the hotel rooms are equipped with wooden floor and diverse energy saving devices. We have an extensive recycling program and have been given three awards by the bavarian ministery of environment, once the gold-medal. Since May 2000 we added a 6,01 kwp solar-panel (photovoltaik, electricity made from sun-energy) to produce a majority of our electricity from solar power. It is the largest of such a system on a hotel roof in bavaria! We also offer ample parking spaces and bicycles without charge. We organize adventure sports like ballooning, tandem-paragliding, tandem-parachuting, rock-climbing, rafting and more. We are glad to organize the airport-transfer for you and we like to help to organize your trips in our beautifull country-side. Ask for our health, ski and cultural specials. Wir bieten Ihnen neben unserer traditionellen Küche auch alle Formen der Diät und Bad Reichenhaller Naturküche (vegetarische Kost) an. Alle in unserer Küche verwendeten Lebensmittel kommen zum überwiegenden Teil aus der Region und sind aus Biologischen Anbau bzw. Aufzucht. Durch ABcert Biokontrolle wird unser Betrieb 2x im Jahr überprüft, davon 1x ohne Anmeldung! Kostenloser Fahrradverleih! Unser Haus wurde vom Bayerischen Umweltministerium schon 3 mal mit dem Umweltpreis für Umweltbewussten Hotel- und Gaststättenbetrieb ausgezeichnet, zuletzt sogar in Gold. Seit Mai 2000 haben wir eine 6,01 Kwp große Photovoltaikanlage auf unserem Hoteldach in Betrieb (Stromerzeugung durch Sonnenenergie). Dies ist die größte Anlage auf einem Hoteldach in Bayern. Mit dieser Anlage und der auf unserem Privathausdach (5 Kw) können wir zur Zeit ca. 1/3 unseres Gesamtjahresstromverbrauches decken.
