Our history dates back to the mediaeval times: In 1293 Ludwig the Grim built this hunting lodge in a magnificent location overlooking the Isar valley. In 1879, when the former hunting lodge was changed into a guest house, it became a hideaway and sanctuary for numeroues guests including famous people like Karl Valentin.
