The exceptionally innovative interior design and a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and materials combined with the historical flair of the Siemens Building. This building has been placed under preservation order to create a special work of art at the Mövenpick Hotel Berlin. The materials used for the hotel range from olive wood to poured asphalt, and the playful use of the elements fire, water, air and light reflects a dynamic interior design employed throughout these historic walls, in a sensitive and subtle manner. The inner courtyards of the building have distinctive architectural features. Their purpose is unique: the courtyard of tranquility and the courtyard of wilderness are used as conference foyers and recreational areas, while the Hof zwei Restaurant with its Mediterrean atmosphere was created as an additional inner courtyard.
