Our fine hotel lies in the heart of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, just 100 metres from the ski lifts. It was fully renovated in 1999. Our hotel is 33 kms from Granada and the Alhambra making it an ideal spot if you fancy a few days skiing during your stay in Andalucia or as a base from where to discover the mountains in the summer season. Nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Granada is known for the natural beauty of its hills and valleys, as well as the grandeur of its cultural heritage, symbolized in the extraordinary Alhambra palace. Though the first settlements in the area date from pre-historic Roman and Visigothic times, it was under Moorish ruling that Granada rose to prominence and wealth. The diversity of its historic inhabitants, which included Moors, Jews, Gypsies, and Christians, creates a vibrant history that matches Granadas natural beauty.
